Mars Metal Industries was founded in 2021 to do one thing properly: take recovered aluminium and copper and return them to a declared chemistry, so that the foundry or rod mill receiving the metal can charge it without re-blending. Scrap is bought at source, screened and segregated in our own yard, then remelted to a target composition under control.
The copper line runs the same way. Millberry, granules and transformer strip are graded on intake, and what we cast from them — ingot and 8 mm conductor rod — carries the same certificate as the aluminium.

I started Mars Metal Industries in 2021 after a decade on the buying side of the metal trade, where the same problem came up on every consignment: the grade on the invoice and the grade in the ladle were not reliably the same thing. Buyers absorbed that gap by over-dosing, re-blending, or simply paying for primary metal they did not need.
We built the works around closing that gap. Material is segregated before it is melted, the melt is held to a target rather than sorted toward one, and nothing is despatched against an assumption. It is an unglamorous way to run a foundry and it is the entire reason customers stay.
