Copper Millberry (No. 1)
Clean, unalloyed, uncoated copper wire — the benchmark high-conductivity feed for rod mills and wire drawers.
Enquire about this gradeMillberry, birch/cliff, granules and transformer strip — recovered, graded and remelted into high-conductivity feed for rod mills, refiners and smelters.
Copper is bought on its recovery figure, not its appearance, so every load is graded before it is priced. Insulated cable is granulated on site with the plastic mechanically separated, and what we cast — ingot and 8 mm conductor rod — is accepted against a conductivity guarantee rather than a sample.
Every load is sorted to ISRI-style names on arrival, with tinned, coated and oxidised material separated from bare bright.
Insulated cable is granulated and the plastic mechanically separated, so what reaches the furnace is copper and very little else.
Chemistry is confirmed before a heat is cast, and rod is tested for conductivity rather than sampled after the fact.
Coils and bundles go out lot-tagged and weighed, with the heat certificate issued alongside the consignment.
Filter by form. Every grade can be quoted to your specification, quantity and destination.
